The Earrings Lab is an open creative experience where you’ll explore the possibilities of polymer clay while designing and crafting your own unique earrings.

A relaxing and creative workshop where you’ll explore the possibilities of polymer clay while designing and crafting your own unique earrings.

Unlike a technique-based class, The Earrings Lab is an open creative experience where you’ll experiment with colours, shapes, textures, and different tools to bring your ideas to life.

Perfect for all skill levels, no experience required. Whether you already have ideas in mind or simply want to explore and play with the material, you’ll be guided throughout the process.

You’ll learn the essentials of working with polymer clay, including:

- Conditioning and mixing colours
- Exploring cutters, textures, and surface effects
- Creating and combining different clay elements
- Shaping and assembling your earrings
- Curing and finishing your pieces

You’ll choose your colour palette, experiment with different material, and create up to four pairs of earrings that reflect your personal style.

Your creations will be baked on-site so you can take them home the same day. If additional baking time is needed, pieces can be picked up later or delivered for an extra €5.

What’s Included:
- All materials and professional tools (FIMO polymer clay, cutters, rollers, textures, pigments, etc.)
- Materials to create up to four pairs of earrings
- Stainless steel earring posts (clip-ons available — please let us know in advance)
- A wide variety of shapes, colours, and textures to explore
- Light snacks and tea
- Step-by-step artist guidance
- A calm, inspiring, and welcoming atmosphere
- Group size: 6–8 participants
- Duration: Approximately 3 - 3.5 hours
- Language: English and/or Portuguese

If there’s a specific colour you’d love to work with, let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to include it.

Reserve your spot and spend a creative "me time" in Vienna, exploring, experimenting, and making jewellery that feels personal and ready to wear.

This workshop is also available for private groups and events, including birthdays, bachelorette parties, team gatherings, and other special occasions.

Meet the tutor

Hey there!

I am Roberta Modulo, the hands and heart behind Nikah Costa Handmade.

I’m a Brazilian living in Vienna, navigating life as an expat and a mother.

I describe myself as an earring addict and have been making jewellery as a hobby for over twenty years.

I’ve had the pleasure of teaching online symposiums, classes and tutorials and have learned from renowned polymer clay artists. I've also joined the Design and Technology Department of the University of Arts Linz for a summer semester project in 2025, where I taught everything I know about polymer clay and assist the students to explore the material.

Currently, I host polymer clay workshops in Vienna focused on creating a space where people can explore their creativity, using polymer clay as the medium. I share techniques and secrets I’ve learnt over the years, but also aim to create an experience through building a safe, nurturing environment.

I can’t wait to share my passion for this versatile medium with you!
