Poppy Flower Pendant Workshop

at Abuela Sanctuary Festival

For me, poppy flowers have always been a gentle reminder that we can be strong and fragile at the same time. They are a symbol of resilience, courage, and beauty, even within difficult moments.

Grief brought me to art. Through pain, I found a way to bring beauty back into my world in the simplest and most honest way. Handcrafting is this constant reminder that I am still able to bring colour into the world, even when I feel shattered.

I invite you to join me for this self-loving workshop, where we will move our hands slowly and kindly as we create Poppy Flower Pendants as a way to honour our own paths with care.

Together, we will make something personal and meaningful.

In this workshop

You will design and make your own poppy flower pendant using polymer clay.

This session is open to all skill levels, no previous experience is needed.

I will guide you step by step through:

  • Conditioning and mixing polymer clay colours

  • Shaping and adding texture

  • Creating embroidery-inspired floral details

  • Curing and finishing your piece

  • After a short demonstration, you’ll choose from a selection of cabochon bases, select your preferred colour palette, and have plenty of time to design your pendant at your own pace.

Your piece will be baked on site, so you can take it home the same day.

What’s included

  • All materials and professional tools (FIMO polymer clay, cutters, rollers, etc.)

  • One cabochon pendant per person, including a necklace cord

  • Additional cabochons available for €10 each

  • Light snacks and tea.

  • Group size: up to 15 participants

Duration: approximately 2 hours + baking time

Language: English and/or Portuguese

When: 17.05.2026 - 10am

Where: Abuela Sinha Sanctuary

Tannengasse 1 , 1150 Wien

Join me for this session and take home a pendant that can become a gentle reminder that we can blossom even in the harshest soils.

We can be gentle, yet courageous.🌹
