I have always liked teaching: I played school a lot, I studied to become a teacher, on the eve of the university tests, I always explained the subject I knew to my college friends. The exchange that takes place during a class is something extraordinary - we always learn while teaching.
For more than 10 years I was very happy in a classroom, I made friends that I carry in my heart until today and I planted the seed of change in the lives of many people, until grief took me away from this environment that I loved so much and I moved away from the classroom.
I'm still rebuilding my professional journey in an unknown and flourishing area, but the desire to teach and share what I know is a flame that keeps burning.
Paulo Coelho says that when we really want something, the universe conspires in our favour, and that's how I accepted the first invitation to teach the art that makes my days complete.

The first Brazilian symposium, in 2020, was a pleasant surprise and from this experience, my path crossed with my dear friend Gleyce's, together we have created Coletivo Polymer Clay and today the content shared at that symposium, added to an unprecedented bonus project, became our first online course.
This year, I will be attending my first international symposium and I couldn't be happier to witness the universe conspiring.
The Polymer Clay Symposium 2023 is an online event that brings together 25 international artists and is organized annually by Curious Mondo.
For 8 days, we will present the most diversified techniques of working with polymer clay and each workshop will be available free of charge for 20 hours. There is an option to purchase the full symposium, thus granting unlimited access to all classes, including bonus classes for those exclusive to subscribers.

For my workshop, I will present a statement pendant, the result of study and many tests to adapt the Soutache technique to Polymer Clay. I teach a technique I developed exclusively for Symposium Polymer Clay 2023, where I transform Polymer Clay into a fake soutache that circles cabochons and beads, all made in Polymer Clay.

And for those who decide to buy the whole symposium, they will have access to a bonus class. For this class, I prepared a beautiful pair of earrings, also inspired by soutache, and you will have access to the step by step of this beautiful piece.

The Polymer Clay Symposium 2023 will air from the 17th to the 24th of March 2023 - my workshop will be on the 21st of March and you can check the full schedule on the website.
Sign up for free to attend classes and not miss any of the 25 workshops.
I see you there!
