Pingente Bargello em Polymer Clay

Bargello is an embroidery technique which can be beautifully reproduced in polymer clay.

It is a technique that requires patience and attention to detail, but the result is wonderful.

I started making this piece in Brno, building the Bargello, and then, it was stored during our move to Vienna for more than 6 months.

I finished this piece while I was talking to my sisters in Brazil, and it was the first finished piece here in Austria.

To make this pendant, I used bright and contrasting colours: turquoise, orange, yellow and black. Finally, a turquoise cotton cord (because the black seemed too obvious lol) and special attention to the clasp, which was also modelled in polymer clay.

In this piece, there are no metals, therefore, free of nickel and other potentially allergenic materials.
