Meet Your Tutor

I'm Roberta Modulo, the Brazilian artist and jewellery maker behind Nikah Costa. I have been making jewellery for more than twenty years and now host colourful, beginner-friendly polymer clay workshops in Vienna.

I have taught classes, tutorials and online symposiums. In 2025, I also joined the Design and Technology Department at the University of Arts Linz for a summer-semester project, teaching students how to work creatively with polymer clay.

My workshops combine practical guidance with a welcoming and playful atmosphere where everyone has space to experiment and develop their own style.

Is the workshop suitable for beginners?

Yes. No previous jewellery-making experience is required. I will demonstrate every step and help you assemble your earrings.

How many pairs of earrings will I make?

You can create two pairs of customised earrings. Additional pairs can be made for €15 per pair.

Will I make the polymer clay pieces from scratch?

The colourful polymer clay pieces are handmade in advance. During the workshop, you will select, combine, drill and assemble them to create your own earring designs.

I don’t have pierced ears. Can I make clip-on earrings?

Yes. Clip-on options are available. Please mention this when booking so the correct materials can be prepared.

What are the earring posts made of?

I use high-quality stainless steel earring posts and hooks sourced from an EU supplier. The earring backs are made of silicone.

Can I take my earrings home immediately?

Yes. Because the polymer clay pieces have already been prepared and cured, your completed earrings will be ready to wear and take home at the end of the workshop.

What is included in the gastronomy voucher?

Your ticket includes a €15 gastronomy voucher to use at Gleis//Garten during your visit.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel between 14 and 8 days before the workshop, you will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made 7 days or fewer before the workshop are not refundable.

A minimum of six participants is required. If this number is not reached one week before the workshop, the event may be cancelled. All purchased tickets will then be refunded and participants will be informed.
